Goals & Programmes

Almost half of the graduated staff of MEDI-RADIOPHARMA comes from various research institutes with significant experiences in pharmaceutical/radiopharmaceutical research. Some of them have already been awarded a PhD in this field or are currently working on their dissertation.

The main research goals of the company are to develop all major 99mTc-labelled radiopharmaceuticals (still missing in the pipeline) as a generic version of the original products. The main research programmes running at our company are the following:

  1. Develop new and generic compounds for 99mTc-labelling
  2. Research on new and known structured 68Ga isotope labelled compounds
  3. Labelling by biologically active compounds (from peptide to monoclonal antibodies) labelled with 177Lu, 90Y isotopes
  4. Optimalization of radiopharmaceuticals used for sentinel node detection
  5. Research for new radiopharmaceuticals used for radiation synovectomy
  6. Development of new quality control methods for evaluating diagnostic and therapeutical radiopharmaceuticals

A part of the developments are co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF):
